We loved our visit to Esther’s lovely home! The house was immaculate upon check in and it was the perfect place for our family of 5 long weekend. We loved the vicinity to Belleayre which was less than 15mins away for great family skiing. The kitchen was well stocked for meals and my kids loved the board game selection as well as playing in the back yard by the creek. Esther was very communicative throughout. We will definitely return to this home for future visits to the Catskills.

Moms and kids up for a ski trip - we loved this house.  Cozy and inviting with a kitchen that was big enough and open to the living room that it was easy to watch the kids and cook.  We enjoyed the hot tub - but be sure to bring flip flops or other shoes as it's a little bit of a walk from the house. The kids loved the game room in the basement.  Comfortable beds. Close to town and Plattekill mountain where we skied. A little tricky to find the door when we showed up after dark but sorted it out eventually.  Highly recommend.

Amazing house, nicely decorated, with a lot of light, located on a small hill overlooking the woods. Very quiet and beautiful. We particularly enjoyed having coffee and hot chocolate on the porch during the day and gathering around the beautiful fireplace at night. The location is convenient for skiing at Belleayre. We are definitely planning to return next skiing season.

Great house and very convenient for skiing nearby.  Love the sunken kitchen which was big enough for two families of four. Sleeping accommodations also great for two families. Cozy and well decorated house that was well laid out and would also make for a great launching point for hiking or other activities. Host was great and attentive and left us a nice bottle of Valpolicella which was appreciated.

Stayed here right after Christmas and over New Years for a family getaway and skiing at Belleayre. It comfortably accommodated my family and my in laws. In terms of convenience, it’s about a 5 Mile/10-15 min drive to Belleayre, so pretty convenient. In terms of scenery and peacefulness, you can’t beat it. We had a light dusting of snow 2 days and it was beautiful. Bring your groceries and plan on cooking in. Plenty of space to eat on the outdoor enclosed (and heated) porch or in the kitchen. Beds are comfy, everyone slept well. Overall I highly recommend this cozy, well lived in, home.

Esther’s place is truly beautiful.  We really enjoyed our time there.  She has paid close attention to details that many Airbnb hosts don’t.  The kitchen is completely equipped.  We cooked all meals at home, which was easy to do since she has all the pots, baking pans, utensils etc you could ever need. There is a lovely woodburning stove which we used quite a bit.  It was so relaxing to sit in front of the fire and gaze into the mountains.  I was initially worried that the roads to the house would be slippery, since it sits at an elevation.  They weren’t; although it was snowing every day we were there, we noticed that the roads were plowed and sanded frequently.  No slipping at all.  We went skiing at Plattekill twice during our stay - it’s an awesome mountain about ten minutes drive from the house.  The house is very spacious - two bedrooms, kitchen, large living room and a bathroom on the main floor and an awesome loft area and large master bedroom on the second floor.  It’s easy to see why Esther is a super host.  She communicates clearly and quickly.  Everything you need to know about the house and surrounding area is in a binder.  We hope to come back again!
